According to the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council and the joint work of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the Ministry of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs and the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, the student with a coronavirus-positive test result will not be disconnected from the National Exams, and given the opportunity pass the remaining one exam. The infected individual will be provided with an appropriate examination environment to take the test. The examination will be conducted under the supervision of doctors and representatives of the examination center.
The decision on the possibility of passing the remaining exam for the infected entrant was made in coordination with the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, based on the recommendations of doctors.
The new case of coronavirus was identified after the student passed the Georgian language and literature exam. All contacts of the infected individual were instantly identified. Nine entrants in the examination room were placed in quaraintine with the patient. All students are given a PCR test before each exam and are taken to a specially designated examination space.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the National Exams are being held in a special mode this year. To maximize the health of the entrants, the examination spaces are arranged in accordance with the relevant recommendations issued of the Ministry of Health.
