First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Akaki Seperteladze presented with notebooks the students who took the first and the second places in 2010 Tbilisi Students’ Economic Olympiad.

Olympiad was held among the III-IV courses of Bachelor and MA students. More than 1000 students participated in it. Mayor of Tbilisi, Gigi Ugulava and General Director of TBC Bank, Vakhtang Butkhrikidze awarded the winners with prizes.

Winners will be employed or supported to pass an internship at different private or governmental agencies after graduation.

Tbilisi City Hall sponsored the Olympiad. It was held by the organization Forum of Georgian Economists. Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Finance, Georgian National Bank, TBC Bank, Ministry of Economic Development and TSU supported the Olympiad.

Award ceremony was held in the new sport center that was opened by the Mayor of Tbilisi, Gigi Ugulava.
