The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Mikheil Chkhenkeli, attended the civil funeral at the Holy Trinity Cathedral and paid tribute to 13 people killed and identified during the 1992-1993 conflict in Abkhazia.

Through the joint efforts of the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the International Committee of the Red Cross, the remains of 8 military and 5 civilians have been transferred and will be buried tomorrow.
