Within the scope of the project "Diverse Georgia", cultural and educational events were held in the village of Algeti, Marneuli Municipality. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the activities were carried out in the open space in accordance with the health recommendations and guidelines.
Giorgi Kekelidze, Demetre Modebadze and Ashugh Nargile held a meeting with the local population, students, and seniors. The guests spoke about the importance of deepening cultural dialogue. Also, a presentation on the curricula / directions of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University was held and various exhibitions were organized. Towards the end, the "Movement Theater" presented a play consisting of several small novels titled- "Silence, It’s a Rehearsal".
The public-school libraries of Algeti and Sabirkendi villages were given books published with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia. Additionally, all events were held with the support of Marneuli Cultural Center and Marneuli Municipality.
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the project "Diverse Georgia" initiated by the LEPL Giorgi Leonidze Museum of Georgian Literature has been implemented since August 31, 2020.
