In order to promote the development of higher legal education, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Ministry of Justice. The document was signed by the Ministers Mikheil Chkhenkeli and Gocha Lortkipanidze.
The memorandum aims to support students of academic programs in the field of law of higher education institutions in terms of the application of theoretical knowledge in practical activities.
Within the scope of the memorandum, law students will undergo various internships within the network of the Ministry of Justice. The trainings in turn, will provide young people with an additional opportunity to put into practice the education they have acquired. It is important that students are given appropriate credits for internships at the Ministry of Justice.
The memorandum also envisages the organization of various conferences, workshops, forums and congresses in cooperation with universities.
