A college of modern standards is being built in Tskaltubo to increase access to vocational education and promote employment for the local population in the Imereti region. The project is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science and the active involvement of the local self-government and its cost is estimated at GEL 6 million.
Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education and Science got acquainted with the construction together with Levan Kiknavelidze, Deputy State Representative in Imereti and representatives of local self-government.
The college, equipped with modern standards and the latest technology, will start operating in the 2021-2022 academic year and, depending on the needs of the region, will offer vocational programs mainly in the fields of tourism, engineering technologies and agriculture.
