The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli expresses his condolences over the passing of the great Georgian actor - Kakhi Kavsadze and extends his condolences to the society, Mr. Kavsadze’s family and relatives:

"The death of Kakhi Kavsadze is the biggest loss for our country. The greatest actor of Georgian cinema and theatre, distinguished by his unique mastery and dignity, was loved by the audience of all generations with the same sincerity. He created an entire era with his work. Kakhi Kavsadze has deservedly won numerous awards and prizes.

His name will never be forgotten. I sincerely condole this great loss to Mr. Kavsadze’s family, his relatives and the whole of Georgia. "
