Since the resumption of the curriculum on May 13 through May 21, the virus has been detected at a steady rate of 0.3% of teachers and school administrators and at 0.05% of students nationwide as a result of monitoring and mandatory testing.

At the request of parents, and due to the confirmation of the virus, there are currently 63 schools and 188 separate classes across the country at a full distance learning mode.

At this stage, there are 120 teachers across the country who work remotely. In case the virus is detected, point restrictions will still apply to schools.

Completion of the 2020-2021 school year is one of the main priorities of public and private schools in Georgia at this stage. That is why each general education institution is doing its best to make the third wave of the pandemic less damaging to the educational process.

For this purpose, hygiene is maintained in schools as much as possible. At the same time, systematic testing of teachers is carried out intensively once every two weeks, and at the same time vaccination continues throughout the country.
