The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli congratulates all children on the International Children's Day.

"Today marks World Children's Day. I want to congratulate all the children and their parents on this day, wish them fulfilment of dreams and a happy future!

Children are our primary concern. It is the responsibility of each of us to create a healthy and safe environment for their development, to give them a better future.

Children should have equal opportunities for education and healthy living. Raised in a safe and peaceful environment, the educated generation is the best investment in building a better society and the proper development of the country.

For the two years, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have been facing special conditions on this very special day – the International Children's Day. During the period of unprecedented challenges, we spared no effort to enable children to receive a continuous education. In this context, I would like to emphasize the efforts of the teachers and thank them once again.

The Ministry of Education and Science continues and will continue to work actively for the welfare of our children. We will do our best for children so they can learn and educate themselves in a safe, peaceful and positive environment, to have the opportunity to receive quality education and self-realization. "
