The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and the Governor of Kvemo Kartli region Davit Kirkitadze got familiarized with rehabilitative works at Public Schools №7 and №21 of Rustavi. There are 26 public schools in Rustavi and all of them will be reconstructed by the new academic year. The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia allocated 650 thousand GEL for rehabilitation of Rustavi schools.

“All public schools in Georgia will comply with the modern standards. MES actively works on this issue” – announced the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini.

By the announcement of Davit Kirkitadze, from now on, schoolchildren of all public schools of Rustavi will study at renovated schools.

One of the top priorities of the reforms is improving the school infrastructure as well as building the schools that will be in compliance with modern standards. Education and Science Infrastructure Development Agency launched the construction and rehabilitative works at 317 schools throughout the whole Georgia in the scope of the President’s National Mega-program “Iakob Gogebashvili – Rehabilitation of Public Schools”.
