Within the framework of the project "Science Calendar 2021" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University announces a competition "Message to a Foreign Civilization" for students.
The competition aims to raise awareness of astrophysics among students and give participants the opportunity to express the possibility of the existence of alien civilizations in the world in a creative way, to think about unanswered questions - whether Homo sapiens is unique and similar (humanoid, protein or other). On exoplanets?! As part of the competition, participants must create a competitive piece of work that creatively expresses an encounter with an alien civilization.
The competition material may be an essay (text - no more than 500 words, font Sylfaen, size 11), three drawings or three photographs. It is important that the paper reflects the creative presentation of the existing civilization on Earth in front of an alien civilization. In addition, the competition material must be accompanied by the author's name, surname, age, telephone number, email address, school and class.
Those wishing to participate in the competition should send the competition entries by September 3 (before 18:00) to the following address: junior@tsu.ge
Upon completion of the applications, the competition commission will reveal the ten best papers, and the authors will be awarded certificates and souvenirs.

We would like to remind you that in order to popularize science, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is implementing the project "Science Calendar - 2021", whose slogan is Undique scientia est (science is everywhere).
