Ekaterine Dgebuadze, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, was vaccinated with the second dose of Pfizer vaccine in Batumi. She positively assessed the fact that, today 46% of teachers across Georgia are now fully vaccinated. Ekaterine Dgebuadze thanked each teacher for her high civic responsibility.
Ekaterine Dgebuadze: “The guarantee of a safe learning environment in a pandemic is only the vaccination of the school community, so it is necessary to involve all parties in the process of mass vaccination. This will help each of us to end the pandemic swiftly."
Vaccination of representatives of the education sector is actively underway in Tbilisi and the regions. In all immunization centres throughout Georgia, there are additional locker rooms for representatives of the education sector, where vaccination with the desired vaccine is possible without prior registration.
