The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, recently met with the Norwegian Ambassador to Georgia Bergljot Hovland to discuss enhancing the existing collaboration between their countries and implementing joint projects.
During the meeting, Minister Amilakhvari briefed the ambassador on the comprehensive reforms underway across various educational levels in Georgia. He also expressed gratitude for Norway's support in advancing inclusive education in the country.
A significant focus of their discussion was the "No Child Without Education" project. This initiative, developed with input from Norwegian experts, aims to establish a new national framework for supporting inclusive education in Georgia.
Ambassador Hovland commended the Ministry's efforts in promoting inclusive education and thanked the Minister for the fruitful partnership. She also conveyed Norway's willingness to further strengthen their cooperative efforts.
