In Parliament, Giorgi Amilakhvari, the candidate for the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, discussed plans and ongoing projects aimed at enhancing the country's educational infrastructure.
Giorgi Amilakhvari stated, "Our objective is to create modern learning environments in schools nationwide, with a primary focus on completely upgrading the educational infrastructure throughout the country. Already, we have initiated the School Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project. This initiative involves the ongoing process of refurbishing and rehabilitating 250 public schools, overseen by the Agency for Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development (AESID) and the Ministry of Education and Science."
Additionally, progress continues on the "Eastern Partnership European School in Georgia," a joint project between the European Commission and the Government of Georgia. This project represents the European Commission's most significant educational endeavour within the Eastern Partnership countries.
