During this visit, Minister Amilakhvari conducted a productive meeting with Estonia's Minister of Education and Research, Kristina Kallas.
The ministers reviewed ongoing collaborations and explored future educational partnerships between Georgia and Estonia at various levels.
Minister Amilakhvari expressed gratitude to Minister Kallas for the longstanding and beneficial collaboration, acknowledging Estonia's significant role in enhancing Georgia's education system.
The dialogue also covered current initiatives aimed at advancing general education, with a focus on Estonian support in the adoption and execution of Georgia's national curriculum.
Minister Amilakhvari and his Estonian counterpart discussed broadening their higher education partnership. Emphasizing the importance of close ties between Estonian and Georgian universities, they considered joint scientific research projects and student exchange programs.
Furthermore, they deliberated on deepening their relationship through the Erasmus program.
