During "Young Scientists' Week" organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, a panel discussion titled - "Translating Scientific Research into the Economy: The Example of Georgia" was held at the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. 

The event was inaugurated by Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Nodar Papukashvili, alongside Teimuraz Dochviri, the Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. 

In his opening remarks, the Deputy Minister highlighted the significance of "Young Scientists' Week" in fostering scientific advancement. 

Following the addresses, panellists deliberated on critical topics including the translation of research into Georgia's economy, state funding, grants, programs, achievements metrics, successful projects supported by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, among others. 

The panel discussion also featured presentations on winning scientific projects from state grant competitions administered by the Foundation. 

Representatives from diverse scientific organizations actively participated in the discussions. 

The event aimed to underscore the pivotal role of science and high-quality research in advancing the national economy, while promoting innovative studies capable of commercial and technological application to address economic challenges in Georgia.
