Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Nodar Papukashvili, accompanied by Givi Mikanadze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science, and Youth Affairs, visited the Anaklia Youth Camp and held a meeting with students.
During the visit, Nodar Papukashvili provided students with comprehensive information about ongoing reforms across all three stages of the education system, placing particular emphasis on projects that support youth initiatives. He stated that the youth sector is a crucial part of the Ministry's unified policy, and that many significant steps will be taken in this area.
Givi Mikanadze addressed the youth regarding the primary focus areas of the Committee on Education, Science, and Youth Affairs, discussing topics of interest to them, including the graduates' internship program, vocational education reforms, and youth addiction issues.
The meeting was conducted in a question-and-answer format, allowing the students to gain detailed insights from both the Deputy Minister and the MP on pressing topics.
Vakhtang Baakashvili, the acting head of the Youth Agency, also attended the meeting.
The Anaklia Youth Camp is currently hosting its fourth group of participants, this time welcoming students from Tbilisi State Medical University. The program lasts for five days and offers young people opportunities to engage in educational, sports, and cognitive activities, as well as meetings. In 2024, the Anaklia camp will run for 13 sessions, accommodating a total of 3,120 young people.
