The deputies addressed the students, emphasizing the important role of young people, the significance of education, and the fostering of a patriotic spirit in the country's development.
During the event, students were awarded certificates and received gifts for participating in the summer camp.
This year's "Army Camp" was held at three locations: Kojori (Academy of Sergeants), Sachkhere (Colonel Besik Kutateladze Mountain Training School), and Akhalkalaki (Senior Sergeant Zaza Peradze Battle Training Center). Over eight rotations, more than 2,200 students in grades 10 and 11 participated. With the assistance of sergeants, the students underwent both theoretical and practical training in key military disciplines. They also attended educational sessions with military historians and clergymen, as well as performances on historical topics organized by the Patriarchate.
The project "The Army Camp" was initiated in 2023 by the Department of Strategic Communications and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth, and the Patriarchate of Georgia.
