LEPL National Center for Education Quality Enhancement, operating under MES developed National Qualification Framework for the first time in the education system.
The document - National Qualification Framework was represented to the public by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini and Director of National Center for Education Quality Enhancement, David Kereselidze.
“National Qualification Framework unifies all qualifications, existing in Georgia, reflects the results of studies at different stages of general, vocational and higher education. Document defines knowledge, skills and values in order to receive approval document - diploma of the relevant education level.
National Qualification Framework is designed to support:
Lifelong learning system will be developed by introducing the National Qualification Framework that is envisaged in the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning – LLL. The system includes 8 levels and covers general, vocational and higher education. Recognition of the knowledge received in Georgia at the international level will be facilitated by this way. This is one of the most important parts of the education reform. Heads of international organizations, general, vocational and higher educational institutions will attend the event.
