Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini attended the presentation of 2010 summarizing report of National Curriculum and Assessment Center of MES at Sheraton Metechi Palace. Representatives of Georgian Government, Parliament, Diplomatic Corps, as well as international organizations, NGOs and Ministries of Education of different countries were among the guests.
Aim of the event was to inform society about the activities of NCAC, including 2011-2016 National Curriculum, National assessment and projects and programs of the Center.
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini opened the event. Director of NCAC familiarized guests with the main directions of the Center’s activities.
International consultants from Holland, Hank Moelans and Franc Klein(CITO – Institute of Educational Measurement, Holland) as well as Eugenio Gonzalez (ETS – Educational Testing Service, USA) delivered speech at the event along with Georgian experts.
Representatives of the Ministries of Education of Moldova, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Azerbaijan and Armenia) attended the event as well.
Director of the National Curriculum and Assessment Center presented with prizes and gratitude awards representatives of partner and donor organizations.
