In the scope of the program Teach And Learn With Georgia of MES, English Language Club was established by the initiative of the volunteer foreign teacher, Jennifer Smith in Tsalenjikha School №2. 10-12 graders joined the club.

The first event of the club was held on December 17. Presentation of video material and booklets on Tsalenjikha was held at the event. The documentary film and booklet reflected sites of Tsalenjikha and   historical monuments. The film and booklet will support development of tourism in Tsalenjikha and attracting foreigners’ interest in Georgia.

The project Tsalenjikha will be finished in May, 2011. It will be concluded by creating the English web-site for Tsalenjikha.

Along with the representatives of MES, members of the following international organizations were among the guests: DRC, ACF, UNHCR, ICRC, International Georgia, EUMM, UNDP as well as representatives of the Office of the Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, local self-governance and foreign teachers.
