By the organization of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development of MES, 10 teachers of math and 5 English language teachers left for Great Britain in order to pass the training tour.
First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Koka Sepherteladze accompanied the teachers to the airport. The teachers will pass two-week professional training in New College Nottingham.
New College Nottingham is one the largest college system of Great Britain, oriented on the professional development. Georgian teachers will pass subject matter teaching methodology and English language intensive course. Seminars and workshops with the professors of the college are scheduled. Meeting with the local teachers in order to share experience will be held in London, at Kaplan International College as well.
Georgian teachers will visit the schools of Great Britain, attend the lessons, get familiarized with the curricula and modern teaching methodologies.
At the end of the course, the teachers will be provided with the textbooks and education-methodological material.
