Students of professional educational centers “Spektri”, “Margi” and Tbilisi multi-profile center renovated  the classrooms of first graders at Tbilisi 173 public school. They also equipped it with necessary inventories.  First Minister of Education and Science Akaki Sepherteladze visited the school and got familiar with the students’ work.

Tbilisi public school №173 is one of the biggest schools in Georgia.  Up to 2200 students study there, the school is partially renovated and its infrastructure is in need of upgrading. The students of the above mentioned professional educational institutions decided to refurbish the classrooms of first graders and contributed to the process of ensuring a comfortable learning environment for the schoolchildren.

The students study various specialties at the professional educational institutions, by renovating the classrooms of the school, they have acquired a valuable practical experience. For example: joiners polished the floor and constructed the door, painters painted the walls, the electricians provided the room with appropriate electrical equipments.

Ministry’s Agency for Infrastructure Development undertakes rehabilitation of sport hall of the school; agency will also renovate the halls of the school soon.
