The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze and the Head of National Center for Teacher Professional Development Gia Mamulashvili held a briefing on the results of the first stage of school principals’ contest.
The participants of the contest can see their results at the web-site of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development.
The participant has the right to address the National Center for Teacher Professional Development appeal committee on his/her results in five days after the results are published. The committee will have 10 days to discuss the appeal.
The second stage of the school principals – job interviews will start after the appeal committee finishes its work. The participants have the right to choose the topic of their interview and hold the presentation at the special commission.
About 1700 participant took part in the first stage of the contest. During t the first stage of the contest, from March 31 till April 4, the participants took individual computer tests.
The participant of the contest took the test on different topics such as legislative data, organization of education process and assessment in accordance to the national curriculum, financial management of the school, logical thinking and human resources management. All materials on above mentioned topics were available for the participants on the web-site of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development.
