Deputy Minister of Education and Science Irine Kurdadze and Director of National Curriculum and Assessment Center under the Ministry Natia Jokhadze congratulated the schoolchildren of Tbilisi public school №198 on the upcoming Easter and presented them with the sweets.

Up to 150 schoolchildren with special educational needs study at Tbilisi public school №198.

The schoolchildren organized a marionette performance for the guests. The school drama club staged Georgian folk story “Komble” and schoolchildren with special educational needs participated in it.  Music of the performance was created by the music teacher of this school, while senior graders prepared decorations.

The schoolchildren also organized musical performance and an exhibition of the Easter decorations. Similar activities assist the children with special educational needs to further develop their speech and motoric skills and boost their self estimation.
 
Tbilisi public school №198 fully takes into account the requirements of the children with special educational needs- the school has a toy library, psycho- social laboratory, canteen adapted to the special needs and training center.
