Representatives of the National Curriculum and Assessment Center under the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia visited Shuapkho public school in Dusheti. This is one of those schools that are supervised by the Center.
The Director of the Center Natia Jokhadze met the schoolchildren and the teachers and listed to their thoughts and concerns. Mrs. Natia Jokhadze promised to provide assistance in settling problematic issues.
The National Curriculum and Assessment Center plans to undertake a renovation of this school within its own budgetary resources by the beginning of the next academic year. A new resource room will be also opened at the school and will be supplied with computers and modern library resources.
The representatives of the Center introduced the novelties of the national curriculum for the 2011-2016 to the teachers of Shuapkho Public School.
On the same day, National Curriculum and Assessment Center presented the schoolchildren with the stationary, sport inventories and the books.
Shuapkho public school is small school, only 18 schoolchildren study there. It is the only school in “Bude Pshavi” Mountainous gorge.
By the announcement of Mrs. Natia Jokhadze, the National Curriculum and Assessment Center will continue to support the Shuapkho school in the future as well.
