Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia Ortwin Hennig opened a German Educational Fair at the Youth Palace. The fair presented German educational programs and projects that are implemented in Georgia.

Minister and the Ambassador attended the educational fair and met with the representatives of those organizations and educational institutions that participated in the fair. Among them were: ZFA, Deutsche Sparkassenstifung , Goethe Institute, DVV international , German International School in Tbilisi, DAAD, Tbilisi State University , Alexander Von Humboldt Stiftung/ Foundation.

The invited guests got information on the possibility of the studies at German educational institutions, DAAD stipends, German Language Diploma (DSD) schools in Georgia, activities of the ZFA .

The fair also featured the handmade items that had been created in the frame of the various competitions organized by The German Adult Education Association (dvv) in the regions of Georgia.
