In the scope of the campaign Plant a Tree, Make Environment Green, Resource Officers of Gori planted cypress and cedar trees together with the schoolchildren.

According to Resource Officers, joint participation of the schoolchildren and the Resource Officers in similar activities and the support of the development of healthy environment at schools are very important.

Campaign Plant a Tree, Make Environment Green is being held with the blessing of His Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos Patriarch of all Georgia, Ilia II.

Resource Officers’ duty is to prevent conflicts and provide the schoolchildren with any kind of aid. They are not allowed to punish the schoolchildren. They are responsible to care for the safety of the schoolchildren.

New initiative that is being implemented in the frame of the Safe School program, envisages giving parents guarantee of their children’s safety.
