The teachers are being trained continually in every subject of the certification exams. Ministry’s National Center for Teacher Professional Development already trained 8000 teachers from Tbilisi and from the regions. The seminars are organized in subjects and professional skills. On the request of the teachers, the center will organize additional trainings for the teachers from June 20.
Certification exams will be held in July. This year, all subject teachers have opportunity to take exams. Up to 24 000 teachers have been registered for the exams. This means that teachers are motivated to further develop professionally. Till 2014, participation in the certification exams is voluntary.
