National Curriculum and Assessment Centre under the Ministry of Education and Science is carrying out National Assessment in the Georgian Language and Literature and in Mathematics of the IV grade students on June 6 and 7 throughout Georgia.
2 500 students are taking part in National Assessments from more than 100 schools of Georgia. Teachers of the Georgian Language and Literature and in Mathematics and school principals are also engaged in the assessment process.
National Assessment is a wide-ranging research the aim of which is to evaluate the concrete subject knowledge and skills of the students of the concrete classes. Also to research how students assess standards defined by the National Curriculum. Recommendations are prepared for students, as well as for teachers, school principals, parents, textbook writers and experts of education on this basis of data analysis.
