Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini is paying an official visit to Republic of Poland. Minister takes part in the conference “Eastern Dimension of Mobility”.
As it has been decided during the conference, Higher Education Institutions of Georgia will be able to participate in the process of obtaining grants. Total amount of grant is 11 million Euros and it is aimed to develop higher education institutions.
In the scope of new project, Higher Education Institutions of Georgia will implement different programs and invite more foreign students to study in Georgia.
Georgia is the part of European Education System and more than 2000 foreign students study in Georgia. In the scope of mobility process Georgian students are also able to study in different universities of Europe.
Conference is organized in Warsaw on July6-7 by the European Commission and the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The event is organized as a part of the Eastern Partnership and dedicated to the issue of the mobility of students, teachers and researchers.
Conference participants will be representatives of the relevant ministries, universities, and research centers, national agencies of EU programs, youth and students.
The conference is an excellent opportunity to exchange views on existing mobility tools.
The conference will contribute to further developing contacts between people and it will usefully feed into the preparation of the Eastern Partnership Summit that will take place on September 29-30 in Warsaw.
