Mobility of students is announced from August 1 to August 31. First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze held the briefing for the press on this matter.
Interested students can apply for mobility on the web page of National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement www.eqe.ge . Mobility envisages the movement of students from one higher education institution to another. The students who got enrolled in the higher education institutions by passing Unified National Exams and have already studied minimum one year can apply for mobility.
Student can choose the higher education institution for mobility from the list of higher education institutions registered at the above mentioned web-page.
Maximum number of educational programs the student can apply to is 5. Student should obtain minimal score for each educational program. The right to move to another higher education institution in the first place will be given to those students who have indicated that institution as the first priority in their application.
If the number of students applied for mobility at the higher education institution exceeds the number of seats at that institution, only students with best results in Unified National Exams / Graduate Record Examinations will be able to move to the institution.
The students studying at the higher education institutions that have not been accredited since 2005-2006 academic year will be able to apply for mobility only if they pass Unified National Exams. Mobility is announced twice a year. The students can be registered at mobility portal with their personal number.
