First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze visited vocational college in Kutaisi and got familiar with ongoing construction of workshops in the yard of the college. College students and staff are actively involved in the construction process.
Kutaisi vocational college has been fully reconstructed by Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and provided with up-to-date technical facilities in the frame of President’s national program.
Kutaisi vocational college provides the students with the skills and knowledge that meet the requirements of modern labor market. College offers diverse learning programs as it prepares: hotel management specialists, engine repairers, craftsmen, joiners, electricians, sewers, cooks, receptionists, masons, information technology technician-operators, shop assistants, cashiers, web technology operators.
The college trains workforce for service, construction and tourism sectors and prepares qualified workforce in these areas. Throughout 4 years, 2961 students have been trained at the college. Out of them 14% had higher education diplomas, 1806 graduates have been employed.
