Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and Director of National Center for Teacher Professional Development Gia Mamulashvili met the principals of the public schools before the beginning of the new academic year.
All topics related to the school management and learning process have been discussed during the meeting. Minister emphasized the importance of introduction of new national curriculum, learning of English language from the first grade as well integrating ICT in learning process. During the meeting, the principals had opportunity to ask questions directly to the Minister.
Up to 150 principals from all regions of Georgia attended the meeting. Such meeting will be organized by National Center for Teacher Professional Development under Ministry in the future as well.
