According to Koka Sepherteladze, ministry has introduced quite a few novelties at schools before the beginning of the school year, such as for example, providing all first graders and their head teachers with the netbooks, granting the schoolchildren who come from socially vulnerable families the textbooks, introducing newly approved textbooks from first to sixth grades, renovating the schools and supplying them with necessary inventories.

All activities are being carried out in the scope of the strategy of the Ministry for 2010-2015 years, educational reforms as a whole are aimed at introducing modern international standards in national education system.
