The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and the Minister of Education and Science Dimitri Shashkini opened a teaching and scientific lab at the Georgian Technical University.
This new learning
center will allow more than 100 laboratory works to be conducted, focusing on construction. The Georgian Technical University will train construction specialists
who will carry out field work on site, and there will be no need of inviting
foreign experts.
The laboratory consists of more than 80 units of relevant equipment. Scientific
research and experiments will be also conducted in compliance with the modern
international standards.
Recently, quite a few labs have been opened at the Georgian Technical University with support of the Ministry. These labs have also been provided with up- to- date technical facilities.
