The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia organizes tours in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Kobuleti professional educational information centres, from the 19th of October till the end of November. Under the project, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scinece of Georgia, Giorgi Chakhnashvili, visited the Tbilisi informational centre with schoolchildren of Tbilisi public school №161. The staff of the center informed the schoolchildren about professional colleges and professional educational programs.
Schoolchildren showed their interest in professional colleges and professional programs that are implemented; terms and conditions of enrollment, education process and terms of financing.
The Ministry of Education and Sciendce of Georgia under the “Professional educational promotion program” provides this subprogram for “high school students' (IX, X, XI, XII) professional orientation”. The program aims to help professional orientation, serves to inform high school students about learning abilities, professional educational programs, and professional colleges, and helps them to get familiarized with labour market requirements in order to choose future profession.
Under the project, the schoolchildren throughout Georgia will be able to visit information centers in Tbilisi, Gurjaani, Telavi, Rustavi, Akhaltsikhe, Kutaisi, Zestaphoni, Kharagauli, Tskaltubo, Samtredia, Batumi, Kobuleti, Senaki, Poti and Ozurgeti.
