Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and Director of the company Zao Sony Electronics Yukihiro Nagahama signed the Memorandum on establishing International Community College – Academy of Visual Arts in Georgia. According to the Memorandum International Community College will be fully equipped by the company Zao Sony Electronics.

Such Community Colleges are already functioning in different states of USA, India, China and Japan. Georgian Community College will be the first of its kind in Europe.

International College will have five-level education system and youngsters interested in different fields of visual art will be educated here.

Youngsters from former Soviet Countries, Iran and Turkey will be able to study at Academy of Visual Arts. Georgian teachers will be trained by Japanese professionals. In the future, students of the Academy will be able to participate in exchange programs and continue studying visual arts at the famous higher education institutions of the World.
