A Physics class was held for the schoolchildren of Tbilisi Public School №42 in the modern Physics Lab at the Teacher’s House. First Deputy Minister Koka Sepherteladze attended the lesson.
This laboratory is a present from the German Company PHYWE and comprises the equipments for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It enables the users to conduct several experiments simultaneously.
This laboratory facilitates conducting scientific projects.
PHYWE laboratory has been introduced for the first time in Georgia. It has already been used by many countries in the world. As a part of their visit to the Teacher’s House, schoolchildren of the Public school №42, conducted some experiments using this lab.
From 2010, public schools are being provided with the modern labs in order to support learning of Natural and Exact Sciences at schools.
Ilia Vekua Tbilisi Public School №42 was supplied with Natural Sciences lab last year. From the new academic year, all public schools will have modern labs. In parallel to upgrading of the school infrastructure, teachers are also being trained in respective subjects.
