As a part of the exchange program, around 160 Indian students will study at Tbilisi State Medical University. Deputy Minister, Nodar Surguladze, welcomed the students at the Tbilisi International Airport.
Number of exchange programs are being implemented which envisage sending Georgian students abroad, while many foreign students opt to study at the higher educational institutions in Georgia.
700 foreign students from 27 different countries, were enrolled at Tbilisi State Medical University this year, students are enrolled twice during the academic semesters.
Soon, around 100 students will arrive to Georgia from Germany, Israel, Malaysia, Singapore, Iran, Turkey, to study at Tbilisi State Medical University.
Various celebratory events are planned to welcome the foreign students at this University.
