Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini met the winner of the TV show “Imedis Gmiri”, Professor of Teheran University, Philology of Georgian language Said Muliani. Minister presented Said Muliani with net-books and text-books for the Georgian Sunday School founded by Said Muliani in Freidan.
Muliani is the descendent of the Georgians who were migrated to Persia 400 years ago. He was born and lives in Iran. He founded the Georgian Sunday School in Fereidan and has created the Georgian-Iran textbook. He is teaching Georgian to Iranian schoolchildren.
Said Muliani wrote the book “The role of Georgians in the History and Culture of Iran”. The book has gained the title of “The Book of the Year” at University of Ispahan.
Said Muliani became the winner of the TV show “Imedis Gmiri” and Ministry of Education and Science and National Center for Teacher Professional Development presented him with 1000 GEL.
Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia also presented other participants of the TV-show teachers Mariam Khutsurauli and Mariam Chkhaidze with 1000 GEL and Shadi Hadadi, Tornike Paniashvili and Tamar Gavashelashvili with TV-sets.
