Pretest in experimental piece of certification examination in physics has been taken
Certified teachers of natural sciences will take exams in experimental piece of physics,
chemistry and biology and will receive surplus of 75GEL to their salaries.
Today, the National Examinations Center under the Ministry of Education and Science
of Georgia conducted a pretest in an experimental examination section of physics for teachers. The process has been closely observed by the first Deputy
Minister Koka Seperteladze from the University of Agriculture.
During the pretest, teachers were given an experimental task, the accomplishment of which requires respective level of knowledge and skills. In order to perform their tasks, the participants had to use measurement devices. Demonstration of such kind of experiments to pupils is very important for the perfection of the learning processes.
Every teacher specializing in subjects of natural sciences has the opportunity to take training in this experimental exam as well as to get equipped with skills and experience to conduct high standard lessons and prepare for the examination by practicing in the “Einstein Laboratory”.
The salary scheme of the certified teachers is as follows: supplemental allowance in the range of 75 GEL to their salaries; surplus 200GEL when they successfully pass exams in English language and computer literacy; The best 25% identified with highest accomplishments in English language and computer literacy will receive surplus 1000GEL to their salaries. Monthly salaries of those teachers who pass lab exam will be augmented with additional 75 GEL.
