On the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, a school of Cyber Security will be launched in August, 2012, all interested persons will be retrained in a new institution.
Cyber Security is indispensable part of the activities of any organization and a strong IT security system protects the agencies/ governmental organizations against the cyber terrorism.
Estonian experts are paying a visit to Georgia to assist the Georgian public sector in setting up an effective cyber security system. Estonian experts will also train Georgian IT specialists. The trained specialists will help the different ministries and public and private agencies to launch effective IT security system.
The specialists will be trained at the Education Management Information System (EMIS).
To discuss these and other relevant issues, the Minister, Dimitri Shashkini met the foreign guests.
Ministry attaches a high importance to sharing of Estonian experience in cyber security field. The Estonian experts will provide a counsel to the management of the Ministry and EMIS in launching an effective cyber security system.
