President of Georgia has opened a new International Olympiad
President of Georgia and Head
of Georgian Parliament have opened Chaghlar Educational Institutions International
Young Inventors and Scientist 6th International Olympiad. The Olympiad will be
held for three days and candidates from 31 countries will participate in it.
The International Young Inventors and Scientists International Olympiad is organized with support of the President of Georgia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. Smart 6-12th graders with innovative skills participate in the Olympiad. The organizational side of the Olympiad is carried out by Chaglar Educational Institutions. It is significant that number of participating countries and students’ projects in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, IT and Engineering is being increased each year.
The Olympiad plays great role in the cultural-civilization dialogue, as participant foreign volunteer teachers who live in local families are being introduced to Georgian language and Culture. Students from different countries have opportunity to get to know each other, share knowledge and experience.
The Olympiad celebrated its 6th Anniversary this year and was particularly grand. In comparison with previous years, more countries express their desire to participate.
