The First Deputy Minister, Koka Sepherteladze, awarded the winners of Math contest ((Tomorrow’s Future) with personal computers.
III-VI graders of Tbilisi public school participated in the competition and it aimed at revealing the schoolchildren with special skills in mathematics.
The contest was jointly organized
by Information Technology Center “Mziuri”, the Youth Palace and Tbilisi public
school №24 and supported by the Ministry.
Up to 1200 students
participated in the competition. 274 students were selected for competing in
the second round. The winners were presented with diplomas and special gifts.
The event was attended by the scientists,
coaches of the math and informatics teams, members of national team, the
successful students who have won school, national and international Olympiads.
