On September 4th The Ministry of Education and science held a meeting with the entrants who hadn’t passed the 2012 National Exams and therefore were not able to become students. It was explained to the entrants that the minimum level of competence for the National Examination is defined in the legislation. The University has no right to lower required competency levels for individual subjects however they do have the authority to increase them.
Students were given the opportunity to choose twenty possible faculties. Each of them was able to select the educational programs from the listed institutions based on his or her personal preference as well as prioritize them.
It was explained to the applicants that the additional (secondary) enrollment is not defined by legislation, and therefore The Ministry was not given the opportunity to meet everyone’s requests.
In addition, the entrants were informed that those who had passed the exam in general skill would have the opportunity to enroll in the professional programs at the 4th and 5th levels.
