Newly opened Technological University of Batumi hosted a forum. The participants of the forum included successful Georgian scientists working abroad and 80 researchers working in Georgia.
The scientists working abroad made their reports for the representatives of Georgian academic circles. The guests got acquainted with novelties carried out at Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and research work conducted at higher educational institutions of Georgia.
The forum aimed at attracting scientific potential existing abroad back to Georgia, developing research activities in the country with the help of their experience and contacts and strengthening prospects for future collaboration.
Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation carries out a number of grant contests in order to involve Georgian scientists working abroad in intellectual and scientific life of the country. Two years ago similar type of forum initiated a number of contests that are underway at present.
