Children’s success depends greatly on parent engagement. Main component of successful learning process is favorable atmosphere between parents and school. According to different studies, academic performance of the children improves and motivation increases when parents talk about the importance of receiving education and help them to deal with problems occurring during the learning process. Moreover, approach towards the school and teachers becomes positive.

Experts of Department of National Curriculum and General Education Development and educational psychologists of the Ministry are holding meetings with teachers and pupils in schools of Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Khashuri, Gori, Rustavi, Lagodekhi and Telavi.

Within the framework of this project the informative brochure was printed for parents and special e-mail was created: mshobeli@mes.gov.ge. Every parent and interested person can send questions and recommendations. Department of National Curriculum and General Education Development is planning to run research activities and to work on methodological resources.
