Memorandum of Understanding was signed within the framework of International School Project SPARE (School Project for Application of Resources and Energy).

Signatories to the Memorandum are: Khatuna Gogoladze, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection, Giorgi Margvealshvili, Minister of Education and Science, Nino Sulkhanishvili, Executive Director of Community for Sustainable Development EcoVision, Hans Ioachim Lipp, Director of Biodiversity Sustainable Development Program of GIZ and representative of   Norwegian Environment Protection Society (Norges Naturvernforbund/Friends of the Earth Norway).

The aim of the Memorandum is to ensure cooperation between the parties, encourage implementation of natural resources sustainable application principles in schools and society, assist teachers with information and methodical materials, increase awareness in the direction of energy efficiency and encourage involvement of  schools in practical activities
