The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia organized a conference with the support of JSC “Liberty Bank” on involvement of private sector in vocational education. The conference was opened by Minister Tamar Sanikidze. The aim of the conference was to introduce recommendations on long-term strategy of vocational education development, action plan and the involvement of private sector. Within the event, representatives of private and public colleges presented best examples of the practice.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is working on vocational education strategy. One of the main directions of the strategy is the process of active involvement of the private sector.
First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ketevan Natriashvili, representatives of other structural units of the Ministry and up to 30 large scale businesses attended the conference.
